Hello All, Gave myself the holiday weekend to fasten my head on tight. Wanted to address a couple of questions that many people have been asking. Q: Is the date set? A: Yes, the La Grande Wedding and Event Center has agreed to hold our reunion date of AUGUST 16TH 2014 until ticket sales reach their deposit total. Q: What does the ticket price include? A: The answer to this is soly based on ticket sales. With the number of tickets sold right now, my husband and I are going out to a very lovely dinner with one other grad and her wife. :) LOL! That being said... The goal is to sell at least 100 tickets (Facebooks invites going status is at 87 not including significant others: so 100 should not be too hard to sell). If 100 or so is reached, The La Grande Wedding and Events Center on August 16th will host a delicious buffet dinner with water and soda available (dinner menu TBD), a DJ to aid us in dancing the night away, a Photobooth complete with fun props and UNLIMITED Photos and prints to commemorate the evening, a beautiful display of school spirit and decor sprinkled all over the venue and a special gift to take home. I am also working on bar options. 2 Drink tickets, unlimited beer and wine...I dont know if open bar is an option yet...but I will find out asap and try my hardest to work it into the budget. Q: When and why will ticket prices go up? A: The ticket price will increase by $5.00 at 10PM (pacific time) on the 15th of each month to encourage people to buy early. The earlier we buy, the earlier we book, the earlier we know 100% details. Tickets went on sale Jan 16th, exactly 7 months before the event date of Aug 16th, meaning tickets will potentially be $110 per ticket by July. Due to catering and seating set up, I dont believe tickets will be able to be sold at the door. JAN 16 $80 per ticket FEB 16 $85 per ticket MAR 16 $90 per ticket APR 16 $95 per ticket MAY 16 $100 per ticket JUN 16 $105 per ticket JULY 16 $110 per ticket AUG 16: Event Date Q: Are refunds available? A: Yes. I am using PayPal for you to purchase your tickets through to ensure that all transactions are secure and easily refundable if any issues should occur. The funds are being transferred to a separate account strictly used for Reunion Purposes Only and can again be easily accessed if a refund is needed.
