Hello All Henry Clay Shipmates: Yes, we are having a reunion in San Francisco in conjunction with the 2014 USSVI Annual Convention! Detailed information to this date has been a tad bit slim but I hope to speed up the pace in the next few weeks. Im currently in a bit of a stalemate until I hear back from the convention coordinators related to our specific reunion desires. Please keep in mind that all of these guys are volunteers and are likely getting their butts kicked with all of the convention details. As I recall past USSVI convention web pages listed individual boat reunions that were scheduled in conjunction with that convention. I cannot find any reference to our reunion in SF on their page and this has led some to question what the hell were up to. The coordinators are in receipt of our Boat Reunion Request Form and they know were coming. It is my understanding that all requests for dining hall and hospitality room events be coordinated thru the USSVI. That leaves me obligated to make arrangements via the convention coordinators - were working on this issue. At the last two reunions I simply contacted the hotel, found the right person and things happened. I plan to make our reunion dinner arrangements for Friday evening Sept. 5th. As soon as I can firm this up with the hotel we will then offer registration forms to our crew list. This allows Dan one mailing and will allow you one form for registration and meal selection. If I cannot settle the dinner arrangements soon we will start registration and deal with the dinner details after theyre firmed up. This of course is not the best option and Ill work hard to avoid splitting the registration/meal selection process.
