Hello All. I am writing to let you know that I am renting out my boat after 7 years aboard! Waltham Abbey is a long Traditional NarrowBoat for rent up to 6 months!!! - almost one of the longest youll find on the canals in London. She has an open plan living-room bedroom space with a separate bathroom and separate kitchen. The bathroom has a campervan style chemical toilet and the hot water is an instant gas boiler. There is full running water on board. During the summer months there is an outside seating space ideal for breakfasts in the sun and the roof can be used with rugs and pillows provided. During the colder seasons a multifuel woodburner brings wonderful fire to warm your hearts. With a back-boiler and two radiators down the boat, this system will keep you warm with wood for instant heat and coal if you leave the boat for up to 8 hours. Please note the boat runs off a 12volt system so best is to bring car chargers for phones etc. There is a double bed with a sofa that can sleep two extra. I will meet with guests to show how to use the boat in terms of gas, water, chemical loo, 12 volt system and also turning on the engine for extra electricity if required if you are just wanting to rent for a few days or couple of weeks. For those who want to rent the boat out as a home I am looking ideally for a couple (with experience) who want a short term let for 6 months. Pets + Children (depending on parental guidance) are welcome. Outdoor smokers prefered.
