Hello All, Thom Benson is in the news for all the wrong reasons, i.e. lying to the media - and by extension, the public- in his official capacity as spokesman for Tennessee Aquarium. It has been my PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL experience the behind the scenes people at the Tennessee Aquarium are some of the most thin-skinned and vicious perpetrators of nonsense and outright lies Ive ever dealt witjh. TRUE FACT: I personally refused to book Mr. Benson On Air after catching him and his associates trying to pull just this same sort of thing at my expense when I was at WGOW. They are also extremely vindictive. The flack who came before Mr. Benson honed her personal attack skills while working for CBL, and if she so much as says a single word in re: this or any other matter involving me I will name her and release a BLIZZARD of proof. While I bear Mr. Benson no ill will - Ive always said Nice guys finish lunch - anyone and everyone in his line of work who finds themselves in the position of telling lies - let alone being publicly outed as a liar - should step down. Those complicit in the lie - and it would seem that entails the majority of the Tennessee Aquarium executive management team, and probably the collective board and individual members as well - should likewise resign or be dismissed. Until this happens, all concerned can rightly conclude The Chattanooga Way means something entirely different than the inane horseshit perpetrated the Chip Bakers, J.
