Hello All! Tomorrow is the big day! Tammy needs to be at the hospital at 5:30 and they expect to begin by about 7:00. Tammy got a few pieces of great news so prayers are already being answered! First, they are not going to send her home on any anti-seizure meds. They will give her some in the hospital, but they won’t be sending her home on any! Tammy had major problems with her seizure meds the last time around so this is a big relief for her! The second thing is that the surgeon said she doesn’t see any change between the MRI she had on Monday and the one she had a few weeks ago. This is great because that means it is most likely still the same type of low grade tumor that she had before. The third thing is that the surgeon also told her that this should only take about 4-6 hours to complete, she should spend one night in the ICU and that there is a chance she could even come home Friday or Saturday if all is going well! I find it amazing that it is even remotely possible to have brain surgery on Thursday and possibly go home one or two days later! I will keep everyone posted through this Facebook page as the day progresses tomorrow. Thank you for all the prayers so far, and for the prayers that will come tomorrow. They have been felt for sure! We do have one request. Tonight our pastor is going to pray over Tammy during the Wednesday evening church at Hibernia Baptist Church on Fleming Island. Church starts at 6:30 and they will pray over her at the end. Pastor Scott Yirka is a great speaker and getting to hear him the night before will be a blessing. We want everyone that is close enough to attend to come out tonight to support Tammy and be with us as the church prays for her.
