Hello All, We are still waiting on an official letter from BAHA (Belize Agriculture Health Authority) about garbage coming out of Hopkins not being able to pass the quarantine check point in Silk Grass. BAHA discovered there there is a severe Mediterranean Fly (Med fly) infestation in the village and if it spreads, can cost millions of dollars in losses in the agriculture industry. The Village Council has identified a temporary dump site and all village waste will be dumped there for at least 6 weeks or until BAHA has given an all clear.
