Hello All You Wonderful Arctic Ambassadors!!!! Some of you may have heard the recent news. That 12 of the Arctic 30 (including Canadian Paul Ruzycki) were granted bail. Now, as wonderful as this news is, its important to know that were far from done in our work to support the Arctic 30. Paul Ruzyckis sister, Patti Stirling, has said it best Its a bittersweet day. Were very happy Paul is coming out of jail, but we know his first thoughts will be for the people hes leaving behind in prison, All of the Arctic 30, including Paul, are still facing very serious charges and we cant for a moment think this is a victory. Sadly, Colin Russel from Australia, for no apparent reason, did not get bail and is being sent back to a Russian jail for the next 3 months. The bail conditions for the Arctic 30 are not yet known and as mentioned above, they all still face very serious charges. For this reason were asking all of our Arctic Ambassadors to keep up the good work and to prioritize both the postcard letter to the Russian Ambassador as well as gaining more petition signatures too!!! Attached is a new petition pointed at Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird. We would like for all Arctic Ambassadors to use this petition moving forward. Please still send in any signed No Arctic Drilling petitions you have as they are still are a huge help to the campaign, but well be using this new petition for our efforts to support the Arctic 30. Please keep in mind that as this situation is constantly changing, we may continue to shift directions over the next few weeks with new materials, so please keep your eyes on the look out for my emails :) THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING YOUVE DONE SO FAR AND FOR CONTINUING THIS GOOD WORK AND GREAT SUPPORT.
