SNOW! :P :P Rock salt and other chemicals used to melt snow, can irritate your pets paws :( They lick their paws for relief, which in turn could make them sick..... :) :) You can protect their paws with many things :) ..little baby socks, secured with rubber bands... Or try ribbed condoms! ... really! If not, rinse their paws in some warm water and baking soda, to soothe their paws after outings :) You can even spray the bottom of their paws with non-stick vegetable spray! helps keep the snow from packing between their pads :) :) And for dry cracked pads, just rub a little petroleum jelly to soothe and lubricate :) :) Happy paws .. happy pet :)
