Hello Anita, I just wanted to comment on what you said about teachers. I worked for A.I.S.D in Houston Tx for 18 years,(worked with children with disabilities,P.E,RTI and then back in P.E again ) being there that long I see how corrupt education is. The principle there is all about head count and money , never about the childrens education. There are so many children that are left behind and it really angers me. They have children in 4th grade who cant even read but are being pushed on to the next grade level. This is so sad. I have posted sticky notes as well as some of my co-workers who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in the teachers bathroom, a prayer in the morning before the day gets started , just to have someone trash it. So many things and mistreatment of the kids not being able to go to the nurse when they hit their head or get hurt in the GYM ( thats where I was placed at to work this year ) children throwing up and parents not notified,and also not being able to go to the restroom when they need to , just so they can make that $ for them being present. Well I decided God is more important to me than being in an education system so corrupt and who dont want to speak of the lord or know of him, but then I feel bad at some point because I was a voice for these children when I was there , I spoke up for them when no one paid attention when I could I would speak to them about Jesus Christ regardless if it would mean I would get in trouble or even fired,they need to know of him. My question is do you think it was wrong of me to leave my employment? I stayed that long for the children and because, I loved them and wanted to help them. It is mentally bothering me, please pray for me and respond what you think?
