Hello. As you all know I just recently got out of the hospital. I went in there Friday afternoon and came home Saturday night. I had a Hemiplegic Migraine. My whole left side went numb then it went paralyzed. I had a massive headache and dizziness. I also had slurred speech. I had a total of 6 tests which were: a Ct scan, chest xray, blood tests, urine sample, MRI, MRA and an EEG. I was put on a heart monitor twice. Every hour the nurse checked my blood sugar level. I was at hutch then got transferred to Wichita Wesley Hospital by ambulance. At first they thought I had suffered a stroke but they werent sure because of my age. A Hemiplegic Migraine has stroke symptoms and has no cure. Later on in life I can have a greater chance of getting a stroke. If I keep having these migraines this week Ill be right back in the hospital. I had 5 total ivs injected. 16 different medicines injected into those Ivs. I just want to thank each and everyone of you for keeping me in prayer and thought. I wouldnt be home right now if it wasnt for you and the Lord. I love you all and once again Thank you. Im also on specialized medication and I can no longer be around bright lights, loud noises, and cigarette smoke or electronics for that long. I have to rest constantly so goodbye now.
