Hello Braves, Registration for this year’s Summer Conditioning camp was today. The fee for summer conditioning is $60.00 per player. You can pay the fee by cash or check. Your registration fee includes 8 instructional session and a pair of Bountiful Brave logoed shorts for each participant. All proceeds from this camp go directly toward the league for upgraded equipment and supplies. This camp also brings all ages of the Bountiful program together and creates a terrific environment where the younger boys learn from and work with the older boys. When: Summer Conditioning will be held every Monday and Wednesday morning from 6:30am to 8:00am. Today was our first session and we have 7 sessions remaining. The remaining sessions will be held on: 6/25, 6/30, 7/2, 7/7, 7/9, 7/14 and 7/16. Camp Format After warming up, we will split the participants into 4 groups and rotate activities every 12-15 minutes. Following the fourth session we will have a joint conditioning activity and then conclude with stretching and upper body and core work. Each day your sons will be taught the fundamentals of football as well as proper running technique. This camp is a terrific way for your sons to get into football shape prior to the start of the season. Once practice begins, we have seen a significant difference in the boys that participate in this camp. Participant Pickup – On Time Please be on time to pick up your participant. If you could arrive at 7:50am that would be very helpful. We have had several instances in the past where participants weren’t picked up on time and it puts the coaches in a difficult position as they are trying to get to work. Coaches / Parent Help Finally, we need your help! We need volunteers to help run each station! If you are willing and able to help out we will certainly put you to work.
