Hello Class, there has been a small lapse of time since the last lesson at Gary’sEnglish as I have had brief hospitalisation with time-consuming associated tests and medical procedures. But here I am back on deck again feeling quite well. Coming up at Gary’sEnglish, traveloger-chef extraordinaire Mark Wiens takes us on a journey through Chinatown, Bangkok, Yaowarat Street Food Tour. There are many Chinatowns around the globe and all have their own atmosphere and characteristics but there is no other that has the buzz of people and culinary excitement of Bangkok’s Chinatown. As a subject for learning and/or maintaining our English we utilise Mark’s experience and take in his enlightening video by reviewing it, studying phrases that go into sentences to make up good listening, so we can create a descriptive piece of writing and appreciate speaking about it through the wonderful medium of audio files. All to do with resulting in pleasantly surprising your family, boss or friends on how well you maintain your English.
