The US Army Yes Program & Ten80 STEM Program is rolling through your town and RedLine is hiring. The NHRA’s Youth & Education Services (Y.E.S.) program is motorsports’ first and only full-time event dedicated to educational programming. The program provides high school and college-aged students with real world lessons about career options and positive goal-setting. The US Army Ten80 Stem Program is comprised of engineers, scientists, educators, and marketing professionals who have developed a unique and innovative STEM Program curriculum utilizing the racing platform to illustrate various STEM principles. Students compete against other schools throughout the day to collect a series of points primarily in several think tank scenarios utilizing 1:10 scale radio-controlled (RC) cars in a series of challenges: Racing – Students learn how to operate and race the RC cars against other teams Mechanical – Students complete a series of think tank scenarios Branding – Students create their own race team brand, paint scheme, sponsorships, etc. To apply please follow the instructions at the end of the listing. Staff will facilitate students and instruct them on specific elements of the display.
