Hello, Elephants Eco-tour (One day) In concept that an elephant is an important part of the culture and belief of the Bunong indigenous minority in Mondulkiri and adhere very strictly to basic principles of Eco-Tourism, the Chuncheat House Eco-Lodge, Mondulkiri, have cooperated with Mountain Center Tour and Bunong Communities, Pu Tang and Pu Lung Villages to promote “ Hello, Elephant Eco-Tour ” to provide direct financial benefits to Bunong people as well as for conservation of their elephant and community forest. Hello, Elephants Eco-Tour will give the visitors the opportunity to: 1) experience a beautiful jungle, wild rivers, waterfalls, swimming ponds, wild animals and birds within the these Bunong villages; 2) Understand culture, tradition, spiritual believe and daily activities of Bunong indigenous minority group; 3) Learn to do with t the elephant such as how to look after and how to feed them; 4) Experience local food cooked by the local people at jungle; 5) Make friendship with Elephants by hand feeding, hand touching, following as they walk through the forest to feed themselves naturally; 6) Enjoy swimming at a waterfall and helping to wash elephants. The one day tour depart daily from the Chuncheat House Eco-Lodge, Mondulkiri, at 8:30 AM and last at 5:00 PM by picking up and sending back by local transportation. The tour will be managed by a Bunong Guide (Khmer and English). The tour price is 50 USD and 25 USD per person for international and national tourists separately.
