Hello Everyone, I would love to help answer some of the question - TopicsExpress

Hello Everyone, I would love to help answer some of the question you all have for the 30 days with no sugar challenge. First off all of us have different lives and will have to tailor their challenge to what fits for them. In the years that I have been training and doing nutrition programs I have learned a lot of what really works for my individual clients. Which is that nothing works the same for everybody. I am all about the science of what should and shouldnt happen to a person when they take out all processed foods, or get rid of soda, or go paleo, or cut out wheat, and on and on and on. The fact, based on my experience alone, is that everyone is different and is going to have different results with different diets and different training programs. What I am trying to get at is that I personally would like to see all of you succeed in your own challenge. A lot of questions about what has sugar in it and what doesnt? Should you be able to eat all natural sugars, fake sugars, ect. I think that is going to be individually based. To one person it may be no fruit, no natural sugars at all. To another it may be natural sugars are ok. My question is what are you struggling with? Are you struggling with candy, sweets, bread, wine? What is holding you back from being were you would like to be? What are your goals? After you take all that into consideration make the challenge your own. Personally my challenge is portion control. I am pretty good a resisting temptation but I will over do it on turkey bacon or ezekiel bread, even peanut butter. I am also challenging myself to explore new recipes that are family friendly. So my suggestion is to set your own goals let the group know and we can help you keep yourself accountable. As well as be there to support you. On another note, most of you are Denas friends(which she knows everyone) so I thought I would introduce myself. I am Meg McGee owner of McGee Fitness here in Manhattan, ks. I know Dena from her being stationed in ks and trained her after baby #4 getting her in kick booty shape enough to compete in her first figure competition. Im so excited that she has gotten into the fitness world and can be such a great role model, teacher, and friend for all of you. I am here to help so dont hesitate to msg me. Meg McGee
