Hello Everyone! Welcome to all new page members- we are so happy to have you join us in our continued effort to see THE GLADES resurrected in one form or another. To bring everyone up to date, let me explain a few things. This page was started last year, after we got the news that A&E had cancelled the show and left us with the awful cliff hanger ending. WE ARE NOT A&E- We are just like you- Our goal is to unite people and to spread information and keep the show alive. We encourage everyone to check our page description for a list of contacts and places to post to voice your opinion about the show and what has happened. PLEASE let the networks know that you want more GLADES! Write A&E, NETFLIX, YAHOO etc..Please also share this page, to spread the word, and sign the ongoing petitions. Over the last year, we have had email and postal mail campaigns, along with a boycott, and web campaigns on many boards and Facebook. We have also supported and promoted several Petitions to save the show. The show came extremely close to being picked up by the Ion network, but unfortunately that deal did not go through. We are ever hopeful that the show will at least be given the chance for a wrap up movie, so we continue our effort and encourage everyone to help. At this point in time, many of the cast members are naturally, involved in other projects. We fully support their careers and are happy for them and wish them only the best. We share any new information about their projects and careers, since it is of interest to many people on this page.This does not take away from our efforts to resurrect THE GLADES. Most TV series only shoot 5 months a year, so there is plenty of time for an actor to do a movie in the off season. We are doing the best we can to keep this effort going, and appreciate all of your support! Miracles do happen, and shows are reappearing that have gotten the axe in the past. We are still hopeful that this little show will return one day in the not too distant future! We cant do this without all the GLADES fans, so make your voices heard! Cheers to you all !
