Hello, FB FAM. Rather nice and warm Monday in Smyrna today. Took Dad to his routine eye doctor appointment. After we left we had a late lunch at Waffle House, one of our favorite places to eat. Funny story, when we arrived, we got a booth. Young black woman with two children were sitting beside us. A girl about 4 years old and a boy about 2 years old. Beautiful children and just dressed impeccably. For some strange reason, the young boy took a liking to me and had to sit beside me for a bit. He just walked up to me and I pointed at him and said something like Who the heck are you? That was a lot of fun. Anything to quiet him for a bit and give Mom a rest for a minute and not have to chase him.. The young girl was a bit protective of her little brother as she should be, but she was good, as well. She watched him closely and was very friendly, as well. When they left, the children gave me high five. What cool kids. Dont want them, but so glad that I met these folks and had this experience. Could not keep up with them for more than 10 minutes. LOL Dad is deaf as a post, but enjoyed it, as well.
