Hello FB friends fellow competitors and all nlabba members. Mike Newhook has advised me as of yesterday I will not be allowed to compete in the upcoming show saying that I dont not meet the nlabba requirements. I have a apartment that Ive been renting since last October. I have a current valid drivers liscence and a medial card and vehicles registered here in the province of NL. Im calling on all my friends/ fellow competitors to voice there opinion regarding this matter. Ive spent a total of 8 weeks in this province since June and had intended on coming back for the last couple months to prep for this competition. I have been a major supporter of the nlabba and nlabba athletes and I feel as if Mike Newhook has taken the power thats been givin to him and abusing it at will. I even supported current NL competitors who recently competed at the nationals to whom they received no support from the nlabba however the whole nlabba executive was able to find money to pay for there flights/hotels/meals to be at the nationals for nothing other than to watch the show. They had provided no financial support to the athletes. I believe this money to pay for there own way is a abuse of monies allocated to support the athletes.
