Hello Facebook Family & Friends!!!! I’m currently working on the Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance Annual 5K Walk/Run. The race will be on Saturday, June 29th at Grant Park. The money raised from this event will go to the HBCU Scholarship fund. I still need volunteers to help with the following items: Saturday, June 22nd at Atlantic Station (10am to 5pm) – provide the runners with their race packet of information. Saturday, June 29th at Grant Park (7:30am to 12noon) – cheer on the runners on the race route; pass water out to the runners/walkers; welcome the participants at the entrance of the park; make popcorn; pass out popcorn; help with the Kid’s Workshop; help with the Dr. Well B kid’s presentation by passing out coloring books and crayons to the children.
