(850) 562-3033 The Child Nutrition Program Coordinator is a key role in the Agency Relations and Programs Department. This position is responsible for ensuring three of our largest programs are running efficiently at all times. This position also works with other organizations such as the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to meet compliance standards. In this role, the ability to provide nutrition education is also expected and encouraged. Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities, competencies) 1. Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in related field. 2. Ability to both organize and prioritize work and tasks. 3. Pleasant, courteous, professional demeanor. 4. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. 5. Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness. 6. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The ability to both learn and use various software programs dealing with databases and inventory systems. 7. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, professional, and timely manner with those both inside and outside of the organization. 8. Must be self-motivated and work well with people in a team environment, and have the ability to manage time and multiple projects. Job Responsibilities 1. Manage all child nutrition programs including Afterschool Meal Program (AMP), BackPack Program (BPP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). 2. Collect paperwork from sites and file claims for AMP and SFSP. 3. Create menus for the BackPack Program. 4. Set up and coordinate backpacking events. 5. Fill in for Agency Relations and Programs Specialist II when necessary which includes printing pick lists for orders, printing invoices for all outgoing deliveries and pickups, assisting partner agencies in operating the Primarius Web Window, and ensuring accountability of agency activities in shopping area and warehouse.
