Hello Facebook Friends, There have been many rumors being spread about High Note NY in reference to Friday nights. We are going to set the record straight. DJ Neil Wrangler Country Nights was never getting fired. When a promoter wants to tell an OWNER who to hire for staff and entertainment, there in lies a major problem. You would have to be very ignorant to believe that a club owner would fire the best DJ and the biggest drawing band so far for country western Whiskey Road, especially when they were so heavily booked. Debbie wanted to fire Lenny & Anita and when that didnt work out so well, she left and was apart of the rumors being spread that Neil was getting fired. Every band that has played in High Note has been paid, if they did not draw a crowd they were asked to take less than the normal rate so that the establishment would not take a loss for the night. Please think for yourselves and stop drinking the kool-aid that is being poured out. Country Western is still alive @ High Note. Southbound, Yankee Rebel, and others are still playing every Friday night. All are welcome at High Note. Especially Neil, Sandy, Whiskey Road and even Debbie. I would ask anyone reading this to try owning a BAR and ring up the most of $1150 for a country western night and then pay rent, utilities, insurance, liquor, food, staff, and supplies. Peace & Love, Lenny, Anita, Kevin & Erik.
