Hello Family, So glad to hear that the adoption went off - TopicsExpress

Hello Family, So glad to hear that the adoption went off without a hitch :) Plenty of prayers were said, and God works. How are you doing today? Is the trip going well? Let me know if the arches are still there ;) I was studying the Atonement today, both from the Book of Mormon and from a talk by Elder Holland. I know that the Atonement of Christ is truly the only means whereby we are able to have salvation. Salvation not only as individuals, but as families. Today was also the last day in the Book of Mormon reread, and I had the opportunity to once again fall on my knees and ask Heavenly Father to confirm the truths within that book. The Spirit is an amazing thing, and allows us to each, individually, receive a witness from the Almighty. My new companion is Elder Sieler, from Three Forks Montana, he has been out a little over a year, and has a great testimony. (Plus he can juggle! :D) You asked about our district, we have our team, the Sisters in our ward, The Medicine Lake Sisters, the Crystal Elders, the Medicine Lake Elders, and a senior Couple, Elder and Sister Mathis. So three sets of Elders, two sets of Sisters, and a couple. President Clements is going to be coming to our first district meeting. No pressure for me to have a good training :) This has been a great week for work. Unfortunately we lost our investigator Felton. Our member that we brought with to help teach became very frustrated with him, and the two of them got in a very heated discussion, resulting in us being kicked out of his house. Kinda unfortunate. Just shows how important it is for us to always have pure charity for those we teach, for we know where contention comes from. Love you all! I miss each of you, and Josh, but I know the Lord has, and is blessing us for our obedience. Love, Elder Cummings
