Hello Forest Hill Families! School will start soon! Here is a reminder for the dates and times to get your calendar up to date. IMPORTANT 2013-14 DATES AND INFORMATION • Junior and Senior Kindergarten Parent Meetings: Thursday, August 8, 6:30 p.m., in your child’s classroom. Come to the lobby and we will direct you to the correct classroom. At this time, you will meet your child’s teacher, visit your child’s classroom, and hear important information about the exciting year your child will have in school this year. Bring your calendars so you can begin to sign up for the many great opportunities for parent involvement in JK and SK. Children do not attend this meeting. • JK-5th Grade Orientation Day: Monday, August 12, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. At this time, you and your child can see your classroom and meet your teacher. PTF will be holding their “Back to School Expo” so that you will be able to purchase supplies and logo wear. Please follow this schedule (alphabetical, by last name) so that teachers will have the opportunity to spend time with each student and parent. A-F 9:00-10:00 a.m. G-N 10:00-11:00 a.m. O-Z 11:00-12:00 noon • First Day of School for JK-5th Grades: Tuesday, August 13, 8:20 a.m.-3:05 p.m. Please make plans to stay after you drop off your children for our annual PTF Back to School Coffee and Meeting. We will have a great time of fellowship, delicious refreshments, and the opportunity to hear about our PTF plans for a fantastic school year.
