Hello Friends & Followers! John & Heidi have had a friend visiting this past week. and has posted a few updates that I dont think have been seen so I thought Id repost them for all to see. Thank you for everyones continued support!!! From Martina Uhlig: I know how much these updates have meant to me. Its finally my turn to write one. My husband, Jerry, is an old friend of Johns and is spending the week with him. The daily routine involves going to see Heidi as much as possible, taking breaks for meals and picking up the kids. The kids come in to see her after school every day. They give her hugs and she is happy to see them. Today Jerry played with the kids in her room while John cracked jokes with Heidi. Jerry felt led to read Psalm 112-117 to Heidi today, and she seemed to enjoy that. Hes encouraging Tyler to read the Bible to his mom as well; hes a great young reader, but couldnt choose a passage to read to her yet. She hasnt wanted music, TV, and books at this facility yet. John thinks shes wanting to focus on her therapies. Theres progress every day! Tomorrow (Thursday Sept 11, 2014) Heidi and one of her therapists will visit her home with John to assess what needs to be done there before her return. Sounds like shes scheduled to go home at the end of this month already! John has been able to use some of the GoFundMe donations already. What a blessing to the.
