Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today...July 23, 2014 Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this opportunity to gather once again in prayer... thank you for being in our midst and for hearing the cries of our hearts.Father, so many here are seeking comfort in your presence. Many are weary... others are frustrated because they try to turn things over to you, but they keep finding themselves taking two steps forward and three steps back...many dont see how you can use any of their pain for their good...and you know Lord, that our vision is limited in the valley...but once we get to the mountain top, we can clearly see all the things we couldnt see before. May we find patience, rest, hope and healing, in you, Lord.Lord, we ask for everyone who is reading this that they will find stability in you. They may feel like they are going under and that there is no point in holding on, but you are the God that saves, redeems and restores. You do not lie. You do not go back on your word. You tell us you will turn our mourning to joy and you do...it doesnt mean we wont face more trials and tribulation...but we do heal and the more we trust and our faith grows, we learn to press into you more. Thank you for being The Solid Rock beneath our feet and for being our Shepherd. Lord, many are struggling with important dates that are coming up that remind them of their loss...many are feeling a sense of doom as they feel their marriages are on the brink of collapse. Many are feeling panic well up within them, as their money is running out and options are drying up. Many are fighting battles on so many fronts and they are just weary and tired and dont know where to turn or where to start to make things better. Lord, your eye is on each one. You are never late...the enemy tries to bring us to the place where we want to give up...he wants us to turn from you...but you are faithful and you will help us to face all we are given....we may not think we can take one more day or one more thing, but you will see us through and we will be in awe of you when we make it through to the other side...with your help, we will be more than conquerors and we will survive what we thought was un-survivable. Father, please pour out your grace and peace. May your spirit strengthen and encourage each weary heart and may they feel themselves rising as with wings of eagles. May they overcome their sadness, heartache, anxiety, and depression. May they find new reasons to hope and hang on. May they find you in new ways and come to love you more than they thought was possible. Bless my friends, Lord and make your face and favor shine upon them. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
