Hello Friends, So here comes worst pic so far in our group. Yes accidentally the screen is broken of my Mi3. Display is working but touchscreen is gone. I contacted all the service centres at New Delhi twice at around 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM out of 5-6 only 3 picked the call. Surprisingly the lady at Exclusive service centre delhi told me that they are not even provided terms of warranty by xiaomi. Most helping was Gurgaon centre guy who talked nicely and explained that being physical damage it cant be covered in warranty I asked about price and availability. He said (not promised ) that display would come in three days and price he will check and let me know. When I called in the evening again he said being new setup he send mail to inquire about price and let me know. This is a bit disappointing because display is a not so rare service part... I am not asking to replace like coil of vibration motor. They have opened service centres then there should also be service parts otherwise whats the use except posting pictures of service centres on their FB page. have done repairs successfully on high end phones like iphones 4s so I got tools and little skills so that I can buy it from some place like aliexpress but I want to avoid that. I am writing this long post for- 1) Letting you guys know the current status of service centres 2) Provide inputs if anyone had done any screen replacements by themselves or by technician looks like service centres are not gonna help me :/
