Hello Friends and Family! I would like to bring awareness of an event that is very significant to me known as the Falmouth Road Race. Both of my parents have participated passionately in the past; my father Fred running the first one in 1973 and my mother Alicia winning the woman’s winter race in 1985! This August will be my first year participating in hope of continuing my family’s legacy. More importantly, this year I will not only be running the race, I will be running in support of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Cure Fund. The MS Cure fund is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting awareness and help towards those with Multiple Sclerosis. MS is an autoimmune disease in the central nervous system that destroys the casing around nerve fibers resulting in muscular disorders of wide variety. The MS Cure Fund is nationwide and constantly fundraising to help better the lives of the 2 million people worldwide who suffer from this debilitating disease. This year I will be running the race in support of MS. My goal is to raise $1000 dollars. Any size contribution will help fund the cure for MS.
