Hello! Hope you are all staying warm during this brutal cold front. Just wanted to post some updates: There are still immediate needs down at Sanctuary Village: - Hand Warmers. This brutal arctic front has left many residents at Sanctuary Village (and others around Rochester) with cold hands and feet. -Socks It is necessary to consistently change socks to prevent frostbite and hypothermia during the winter as wet, moist socks can be extremely dangerous. Cold weather socks preferable. -Gloves -Hats -Funding Please consider donating to gofundme/SanctuaryVillage to help support fund both the short-term and long-term shelters. Thank you. -- Warm food Lastly, We launched a site to help coordinate the efforts of the various organizations working down there. Admittedly, it is still a work in progress; we are working hard to get all the details correct.
