Hello! I am from Singapore Polytechnic. My group and I are currently involved in a research on quality of life of those with short-sightedness (myopia). We are in search for subjects for this study. To qualify for this experiment, you must fulfil the following criterion: 1. Age: 21-38 years old 2. Absent from any eye diseases (normal eye health) or past eye surgeries (i.e. LASIK etc.) 3. Not diabetic or pregnant 4. Short-sightedness (myopia) present regardless of the type of correction worn (i.e. spectacles, contact lenses or nothing) The experiment includes two eye tests which determine your vision and also how well you see in the environment respectively, some eye and spectacle measurements for those wearing glasses and lastly a questionnaire for you to complete. This is a one-time session and the entire procedure will take approximately 30-45 minutes. A small token of appreciation, $20, will be rewarded to the participants for helping us in this project. The test will be held at Singapore Polytechnic Optometry Centre (SPOC). Should you find yourself eligible and willing to help us, do PM me for appointment booking.
