Hello I am in need of some serious medical help! I have 3 month old hairless female rat whos having disastrous itching problems. She has completely scratched her neck bloody raw and definitely seems infected. I have been to TWO different vets who have no idea what it could be since they tried treating possible mites with revolution and Baytril with no positive results. We changed bedding to fleece washing it with hypo allergenic baby soap and clean the cage every other day. This has been going on for almost a month now and only getting worse! We cannot afford to pay vets who cannot find answers... No one seems to know what to do and im very scared and worried for my baby. Ill send pictures to anyone who can help since they are kind of graphic. Thank you for any help!
