Hello. I am overwhelmed with the amount of support from friends, family, and all others. The generosity shown through the give a little page set up by Ruth Shepherd Tarryn McKenzie and Narissa Webber has been incredible. Also thanks to the rugby southland staff for organising the charity fundraiser at the darts and also to the Mataura, Wyndham, Tokanui, and Edendale rugby clubs for sorting out a charity 20/20 cricket tournament. Hopefully you smash some sixes. I cant thank everyone enough. As most of you already know I was in a accident on the 31st of the 12th 2014. My injury has left damage to my spine. I am currently in royal north shore hospital in Sydney getting the best possible care. I have broken 7 bones in my vertebrae at various levels and damaged my spinal cord at one of those levels. This means at the moment I have no movement in my legs or hands but do have movement in my arms. It is still very early stages. Over the next wee while this will become my home well I undertake rehabilitation until I am fit to fly home and continue this at Burwood spinal hospital in Christchurch. Although this is just a plan I am unsure when this will happen as plans do change. Sorry I have taken my time in letting everyone know whats going on but Ive been flat out. As I mentioned above my hands are not allowing me to txt or post (Im not doing this) so please dont ring me. Ill ring you when I can. Again thanks to everyone especially the staff here at the hospital. Apart from the dragon nurse who stole my whiskey and tried to kill me. Dont worry she is not allowed to look after me anymore. Thanks again. One love. #brotherskeeponwalking P.s. Huge thanks also to those who have flown over and to those who have booked trips. It makes it that much easier. Here are two photos of me before and after showing the progress I have made in 9 days. I love you all. P.p.s.s whats big white, and above me...................my biggest fan.
