Hello, I don’t generally make requests. But I felt the need to this time. I’ve been seeing Kashmir related floods status’ being shared on Facebook for almost a week now. I’ve also been keeping myself upto date with news, social media, asking friends who are from J&K about the conditions of their relatives etc. But I happened to check Anams status recently and it really left an impact on me. (I’m being honest about it. Personal accounts always make you realise more.) One of the reasons why I was hesitating to donate was because I read a status regarding the injustice in the distribution of concentration material at relief camps - where relief materials were being distributed to only the posh places, which made me wonder about the use of me donating at all. To clear that out, I spoke to Anam and she told me that a few authorities intervened and have now formed a Central relief camp where everything is being evenly distributed. She’s also sent me a clear list of what all is ACTUALLY needed at the camps. I’ve got a list of all the materials that are required. I don’t know if my status was inspiring enough but I hope it triggers something in you at least. Do contact me for more details. Ill be meeting Anam in 2 days.
