Hello. I thought I would re-post this as no-one seemed to take any notice when I put this up a few days ago. This was the theme tune to a childrens TV series, yes, it was a childrens TV series. Broadcast around 1980. Take a look at the cover. Starving Britain, divided familes, a disturbing vision of the future. Take a look at the picture on the left. Burning buildings, police in riot gear etc. The cover of the mock-up newspaper said 1984. In 1980 it was set four years into the future. As I said before we all know what happened that year. Yes. The Miners Strike. That divided familes alright. I dug this out of my record collection last Saturday. I do sometimes find this very depressing to listen to. I was in Hastings last Monday. Too long a story for here. What happened that day and this tune. If you are feeling sad or depressed or anything like that maybe not listen to this tune. Otherwise. Jonathan.
