Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give some advice. Our son, Toby, who is severe/profound on one side and moderate/severe on the other, is not sleeping. He is 13 months old and shares a room with his 3 year old brother, Haven, who is hearing. Toby wakes up at least twice a night screaming at the top of his lungs, waking his brother and my wife, and stays up for about an hour each time. I work nights so Im not there to help. We recently moved to an apartment, so we feel bad letting him just cry it out, and he has learned when he screams, we come running. Haven is falling asleep at school, and my wife is becoming a zombie. I found online that this is a common problem with Deaf children. Is there any advice you have that could help our family?
