Hello! Im new, and I was very recently saved from purchasing a borzoi puppy from a not so reputable breeder in Oklahoma... for which I am VERY grateful! Not only was a saved from that, but I was introduced to this group and a few others which all have fabulous info on them. You guys all seem super cool too! Anyhow, since my near miss with disaster, Ive been doing my best to read up a bit more and have been collecting breeder recommendations. This will be my first borzoi, and my first breeder venture as well. I have a tri rough collie and a red and white basset who are both rescues... If you have any advice for a first timer, borzoi enthusiast (Ive been one since I was very small)... Id appreciate it! Im still looking into getting a puppy. I admit to not having a fenced yard right now, but I do have an area I can take my dogs to that is fenced where they can run free, and I also bike, hike, run, walk, and swim my two currant dogs. We are very active, and we live in California. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much! :)
