Hello! Im new to the hobby (husband returning after years away) and learning as fast as I can. Thats me below (be kind). My husband is a tin type photographer and I assist, so I portray more of a work impression. The article posted tonight on etiquette and home vs public was wonderful and got me thinking. My questions are this: 1) I have a slat bonnet (hate it) and wonder if one ANY other headpiece would be acceptable for day wear? Could I wear the ribbon headpiece and hair net or is that too formal for my dress? 2) gloves: I see where kid leather gloves are superior but again, is that too formal for my dress? And 3) if walking around (ie through the sutlers at cedar creek) would I be wearing my apron or remove it for strolling? I thank you in advance!
