Hello Jupiter Farms. First of all, a huge Thank You from everyone at Moores True Value Hardware to everyone who has been by to see us since we opened last week. The welcome and the warm response from the community has been incredible. My name is John Throop and I am the owner of Moores Hardware. I know there have been some pretty interesting accusations thrown out there by a couple of former employees at Moores and as much as I would prefer to stay out of it, I did want to answer to a couple of things that were said by the two or three people who so wanted to keep those posts going. So bear with me while a rant for a moment. 1. I am not bi (not that theres anything wrong with that). 2. No I am not bangin any of the cashiers (my wife was relieved to hear this and btw, she doesnt have me by the balls (usually)). 3. Unfortunately, the police did in fact have to be called as verbal threats were being made. 4. My father has not been deeply involved in my business for close to 15 years. 6. To the person who had to wait at the register, I am sorry for that. We are truly a small, mom and pop, family business and we were unexpectedly short of help which I am desperately trying to do something about. 7. If you knew my family, then any talk of calling people rednecks,hillbillies, or backwoods is pretty funny since I come from a family of backwoods rednecks. Too the two people (former employees) who have started these thread, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, I would ask that you please get some help. In the very short time you were employed, you accused every employee of stealing. Stealing cash from the register, stealing merchandise out the back door, planning on breaking in in the middle of the night. You even accused Cy of having someone throw nails in the parking lot to make my customers hate me. I beg of you, get some help. Too anyone who has any concerns about the store or the way it is being run, I invite you to stop by to discuss them. I am there almost all day, every day and I welcome everyone, no topic is off the table. Also, we are currently looking for a new cashier and sales associate. All applications that have been turned in are being kept. Thank You and I look forward to seeing you at our Grand Opening the weekend of November 7,8, and 9th. Regards, John Throop
