Hello Ladies, I am looking forward to sewing together this Saturday. I will do a demonstration of the totally tubular pillow case. I will post the u tube video again so you can see an example of what we are going to do. This pillow case has French seems which are easy and I will teach. If you are a sewer or if you want learn please join us Saturday September 28, 2014 at 1 pm till generally 3-4 pm. We will fellowship, have devotion and sew. No food or snacks are planned as we are meeting after lunch. Bring something to drink to keep hydrated while sewing ….lol. I have 6 kits cut. I know one for Beth and one for Hope (let me know which theme you want... see pictures). One circus, two ballet kitties, one Jeff Gorden racing, and two motor cycle kits cut. So I have four more kits available two girl and two boy kits. Who else needs one? Fabric supplies needed for your own kit: 1 yard 41 inch wide focus fabric for the body of the pillow case. (You will need 27 inches) A fun novelty fabric works great! 3/8 yard 41 inch wide color coordinated fabric for the cuff of the pillow case. (You need 10 inches) 1/8 yard 41 inch wide color coordinated fabric for the flange of the pillow case (you need 3 inches) Sewing Supplies: Sewing Machine Neutral sewing thread and wound bobbin Scissors for snipping threads Straight pins (I will bring a rotary cutter and matt) Please let me know if you want to come and don’t have a machine. Two people could share a machine easily to make the project.
