Hello Mama Zimbi, my name is Silvia, I have 2 children’s, the first one was with another partner and I’m actually in relation with the father of my last. We live together and do everything as if we were married but we are not. Anytime I ask about marriage he is telling me that he is not ready for it. I often catch him chatting with ladies on social Medias but he always denies and end up admit that he love women’s and that’s his nature. He proposed to marry me but I got pregnant but to respect the Akan tradition the family decided to postpone our marriage to after my labour. We live in South Africa, and his dad often visit my mum in Ghana, nothing shows that his family is against our union, also by the grace we are not facing any financial difficulties. My problem is that our baby is pass 1 year now and I still don’t see any intention from my partner to marry me. Every time I ask it end up with quarrels. I feel used, I cry abt this situation every day and I don’t know what to do. I’m a born again and when I pray hard over it I feel like my body is the temple of God and that what I’m doing is wrong. But at the same time, I’m afraid to quit the relation and ending up my life having a 3rd baby with a different partner. Please advise me. I already know that the life that I was in before wasn’t good and I’m asking for advise so that I can a better person. Thanks.
