Hello. My mom is home... and VERY happy to be there. She has a vest she will wear - that will monitor her heart. She has LOTS of medications. And now - hopefully the healing will begin. Shes got a long way to go.... but getting home today was a good start. As for her roommate, Harriet... She has waited 8 days for her surgery. It was supposed to be at 8:30 this morning. Her family came from out of town. She sat around, not able to eat or drink, until 2:30 this afternoon... when she was finally told her surgery would not happen today. Talk about a long day of anxiety! Now, its scheduled for tomorrow. Prayers for Harriet. Thanks everyone... for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.
