Hello. My name is Fernando and I am pleased to meet you. Did you know that Fernando means brave traveler? The name fits me well, as I am very bravely and have traveled a lot of late. I hope that I only have one more trip to make in life, that is, to go home with my new family! I arrived at MaxFund after my person that I was with faithfully for many, many years decided they could no longer keep me. I do not understand why and I am so very sad that my only home was taken away from me. I do appreciate being able to be here at MaxFund, rather than on the streets, but the shelter is no place for a senior cat like myself. I want only to have a home and a family that will love me. I am shy here because I do not understand this place very well. There are a lot of cats hoping to get attention and I am a humble, gentle soul that hesitates to ask for much. I do very much enjoy being paid attention to when pets are offered to me. I tolerate the other cats here well, generally speaking. In my former home, I liked to be a lap cat and I hope that I will have the chance to live that way again. I would like to ask for your help. Please choose to love me and invite me into your home and your life. I may not be the youngest cat here, but I have so very much love and deserve a chance to share it. I hope to see you soon!
