Hello POAM supporters: I have been doing what I can to help my fellow equine community during the Black Forest Fire. It is currently not under control and still burning homes to the ground. Many horses unfortunately, were set free in hopes they could save their own lives and escape the fire while families were forced to flee with little time to evacuate. However: Many horses are being found and brought to safety. Local people, ranches and stables are using their own resources to care for these equines until they are paired back up with their owners. Some horses were safely evacuated and are in the care of others until owners can recover from their homes being burned down.
