Hello Peoples, Subject: The Dark (aka Deep) Web - The Alternative Internet Universe (Part One) Twenty-five years after the World Wide Web was created, the issue of surveillance has become the greatest controversy of its existence. With many concerned that governments and corporations can monitor peoples every move, this programme meets hackers and scientists who are using technology to fight back, as well as the law enforcement officers who believe its leading to opportunities for risk-free crimes. With contributors including World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee and WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange, this is the first in a series of articles, features and dokos I will be posting on the alternative universe of the Dark (Deep) Net. It is instructive to note that GOOGLE - purportedly the most powerful search engine on the internet - is able to access about only about 5-10% of whats out there (according to some, even thats stretching it).
