Hello ROSE ROCK STARS of Tampa Bay! Have you successfully recovered from St. Patrick’s Day? We wanted to take a moment to tell you about the new roses we received this week. We haven’t seen some of these in a while, but we also got some of our favorite standards! Please note, some of the varieties we received in limited quantity, so call and speak with someone on Saturday to verify we still have what you’re looking for (813-839-6151)! Don’t forget...now is the time of year to cutback your roses! As Mr. Hardin always said, wait until the Strawberry Festival, we will be clear of any cold weather and you can do the major pruning needed for spring. John and Schultz have been busy making Mr. Hardin’s Top Secret topping soil to be used in tandem with your annual cut-back. Those of you who’ve tried it know this magical treatment gives your roses the hearty spring time fertilization they need. Rich with 10 fertilizers, it kick-starts your established roses with a spring “bloom boom” and takes them into the Florida summer! One bag feeds two bushes and will serve as this month’s fertilizer. Make sure you read this whole email…the last section contains information where you can see the nursery in “different” places and other events the rose lover in you will want to check-out!
