Hello Residents of Alaska, We are currently looking for at least three residents from each state to represent as constituents in various writing campaigns throughout the year on behalf of G-PACT. Each event would be clearly outlined and rarely require too much time or effort on your part. The need is for established and recognized residents, a desire to be active and participate, willing to write on behalf of G-PACT and share your personal story with Gastroparesis and or Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-Obstruction or other forms of Digestive Tract Paralysis (DTP). Strength usually comes together when the buddy system is in place so more than one is usually better! *** https://facebook/GPACT4Alaska We are also looking for the following input and participation from those that volunteer for this position: Share doctors that are in your local area and are either motility specialist or are very GP friendly. Local businesses that are friendly to the needs of individuals with a motility issue and associated medical conditions List food establishments that cater to a GP friendly diet Share local/state news articles relating to Gastroparesis or other forms of motility issues, medical findings, local research studies or events. Also of great importance is the sharing of local/state updates, laws, policies, etc related to medical and digestive health.
