Hello! Sharing with you a poem I did, entitled: ROYAL BLUE ROSES CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO WATCH THE VIDEO, THEN AFTER, READ ITS DESCRIPTION. THANK YOU! The color “blue” not only signifies PEACE, but also depicts ROYALTY. In this poem, my use of those roses with the royal blue color, illustrates the noble attributes, which the TRUTHFUL ARTIST (God the creator) desires to impart in each recipient’s heart. In scrutinizing this kind of rose, the royal blue color is a part of its IDENTITY. Its color tone is of INTEGRITY, not artificial or deceiving. Its clothing colors are NOBLE (blue) and PURE (white). There is a sense of HUMBLENESS to its demeanor too. Royalty is strongly tied to LOYALTY. Obedience to the will of God is an honorable thing. His will is found in His commands to us. When we look back in the Old Testament time, God’s people (the Israelites) were commanded by God to place a BLUE ribbon on their garment. What was the significance of this? Here it is: NUMBERS 15:37-40: “And the Lord said to Moses, Speak to the Israelites and bid them make fringes or tassels on the corners in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and put upon the fringe of the borders or upon the tassel of each corner a cord of BLUE. And it shall be to you a fringe or tassel that you may look upon and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, that you may not spy out and follow after [the desires of] your own heart and your own eyes, after which you used to follow and play the harlot [spiritually, if not physically], That you may remember and do all My commandments and be holy to your God.” The commands of God are not mere “thou shalt not” and “thou shalt”. Rather, they are utterance of love, which comes with blessings (See Joshua 1:7&8). Love is the foundation of God’s authority. And by doing His will faithfully, our love for God and man will grow: JAMES 2:8: “If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself,’ you do well…” JOHN 14:15: “If you love Me,” Jesus says, “keep My commandments.” MATTHEW 22:37-40: “…‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” In concluding this, to be a member of God’s royal family, God’s acceptance of anyone will be the result of their WILLINGNESS to be in a love relationship with Him, and also their RECEPTIVENESS to His grace that makes them ROYAL. 1 PETER 2:9: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” youtu.be/HelLc8GacLs
