Hello UofR lions, Brace yourself for a very long but - TopicsExpress

Hello UofR lions, Brace yourself for a very long but necessary post, I also sent this to all of your emails. Attached are the meeting minutes for our last meeting. In the google doc below I have posted about positions available and stuff we need help with that you can sign-up for, like tabling, the involvement fair, community service committees, and potential advisor and faculty to attack to involve in our club: https://docs.google/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArHGkrjDKSsCdDIwZjJ4ek40czdVazNwdldaUmRVT2c&usp=sharing The Survery monkey poll (https://surveymonkey/s/WZRHTZH) is how we will vote for our polo color, a link is posted in the survey so you can see where we will buy the polo, and how the colors will look. The way we will handle polos, is that if you attend at least one meeting a month, and go to one project a month, you can get the polo for $5, if you do not it will be $15. In essence if you are committed in February, you will get the discount. Once we order the polos we will send it in to get embroidered. The timetable for the polos is sometime in March hopefully before our Charter night. Lastly, a lot of you are athletes and expressed concerns over not being able to attend any of the meetings. As discussed in the meeting we are looking into a new meeting date and time to go along with our first tuesday of every month meeting at 4:30 pm, and to replace our third friday meetings. This meeting has to take place in the third week of the month and during the week. Please list all the available times you can attend Lions club meeting so we can see what works best for everyone on the doodle poll, doodle/ra23cb3in2s5cewd. If you are interested or contemplating going to the district cabinet meeting Lion David talked about in Norco this Saturday (25th from 10am-3pm), I went ahead and attached a flyer. If you want to and can definitely go, send Lion David an email at gtliondave@yahoo, so he can talk to you, reserve you a spot, and have your cover waived. I know this is a lot of information in one email, and a lot to go through, but doing this now will help our charter of Lions club immensely. As always please feel free to contact me via email, text, or a call, with any questions, concerns, comments, or suggestions you may have. I want to make sure this club is how you envision it, and is collective in addressing why we all joined Lions club. Our next meeting will be on Feb. 4, 2014 at 4:30 pm, in Gregory 161, where I will be handing out our newest membership cards. And dont worry will be sure to remind you with an agenda, and multiple emails and facebook posts.
