Hello! Well it is a bit of a wet day today, so wellies are definitely the order of the day! Anyway for todays thought I am paraphrasing a Buddhist Gatha, which is a type of poem to recite when you are being mindful, or during meditation. The basic idea is that as you breath in you recite in your mind one sentence, then as you breath out you recite another etc. This helps you focus and when you finish the meditation hopefully you feel calmer, more relaxed and more focussed. As I am thinking about the weather I am also thinking about mindful walking, and what it is like to experience this. Which reminds me of a Gatha: The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, a cool wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms. Sometimes it is good to walk bare foot to feel the earth under your feet, but I wouldnt recommend that in todays weather! :D
