Hello again SAS, the SAS Exco would like to take this time to thank every one of you who turned up yesterday for the SAS Makan Night! The response to our event was heartening and we had a good time speaking with many of you. The Committee had a superb time in our massive catering kitchens, planning the menu and cooking the delicacies we promised (except for Luciuss foie gras, venison and caviar which was a personal agreement by Oliver himself). Having seen all of you savouring the food made and catered, we cant help but be tremendously happy that it went well. Hope everyone left uni feeling euphorically contented and well-inducted into Semester 1. We now want your quality feedback as to the standard of the food last night and what you feel needs improvement. Was the chicken the best dish? Should we have made more satay? Perhaps the chai tao kueh/carrot cake should have been cooked with less sauce? Whatever it is, we welcome your feedback! We hope to improve on your feedback for the second semester; so that you will continue to enjoy quality food whilst away from home. Once again, our gratitude to all who turned up for the Makan Night event! To the people who graciously volunteered to help, the Committee recognises your efforts and extend our deepest thanks! For the members who have yet to receive your SAS membership card, we are setting up a booth this week at MONSU for collection of the cards.
