Hello again! This week marks our first week back on the Learning Bus after the long summer break and we are busier than ever! We’ve signed up five new students as regulars on our mobile Learning Bus and got off to a flying start with a completely revised curriculum covering maths, literacy, science, history, geography and arts & crafts as well as some exciting trips in the pipeline! This week we covered times tables’ revision, phonic ladders, magnets and all got in a twist with mobius strips (non-orientable rings like bracelets that have a never ending surface!) Our recently piloted Prince’s Trust courses are proving popular and ten young Travellers from around the county are working towards a recognised qualification. We’ve also registered six younger children with schools and placed three young people in college courses. Cooking begins in Grantham on the 22nd of September with eleven Travellers from three sites signed up for the five week course. Busy! Busy! Busy!
